Too much stuff happened in game lately and is causing a "forced" update today ><

I always thought "I won't update now, I don't have enough to show" but now I HAVE TO do it if I don't want to crawl under my screenshots.

So let's start with Limbus and my first Ultima ever :X

Let's keep Limbus in the good news today with Apollyon, where the unbelievable happened :



After 6 month of Limbus without seeing a single BRD item drop on both areas, the 1st chest of an Apollyon granted us with not 1, but 2 Brown Doeskin, including 1 for me.
Forgot to take a SS because i was too excited and screaming in party.
I'm just hoping that i won't have to wait another 6 month to get my hands on the Coiled Yarn.


Einherjar time!

We changed our strategy in Einherjar by getting a "tank" in every PT so we could kill 5~ mobs at a time, giving us more time to fight the Chamber's Boss.

Strat worked perfectly and we won 2 Wing II chambers back to back :





Didn't post the Armoury Crate drops as they weren't worth it
Only 1 more win and gogo Wing III :D

I FINALLY finished CoP!!! We killed Promathia with 4, really easy fight and got the best Cutscene that i have ever seen in FFXI, and OF COURSE :

A long time ago, i talked about a Genbu duoing project with Yuffy :
Yesterday, i happened to find a Winterstone in bazaar for a decent price
I had the Gem of the North for months and we decided to give it a try for our own fun and mercing some Abjus/Gear at the same time.
We had a buyer for A.hands at 500k

So we headed out in Ru'Aun Gardens and started to fight with the Chi Blast > Kite startegy
i was there to help with Etudes,Poisona etc

Very fun fight, even when Yuf died and i had to kite with Mazurka to raise him :D
Seeing A.Hands drop was even better, it totally paid for the Winterstone.

It's been almost 1 month since the last update; things happened here and there; mobs were killed here and there etc...

Let's start with my 4th Tiamat:
Early morning pop (about 5-6a.m French time), claimed and hold with 5-6 people while everyone were asleep. Hopefully the NA part of the shell was still awake and they managed to damage it very slowly until people woke up to avoid a GM call.
It was about 11a.m when i woke up and logged to see Tiamat at 28%. Got invited to Ballad whore at this point since there were already 15people~ fighting and tank PT full.

We killed and...

2/4 on feet so far!

More Periqia spam brought my total points to 20k+ and...

New feet for my WS set since i'm Denali Gamashesless ;p;

*WARNING* Wall of Treasure pools incoming.

On early June, SE decided to implement some new stuff such as new WotG Missions,new Abilities for PLD,MNK and BRD, and last but not least, new NMs!!
Of course, new NMs means new equipments.

This new NMs system is related to Monster's images capture, like the Pankration thing~
You have to take pics of certain monsters depending on which one the NPC is interested, and you're rewarded with Zeni points after trading the pictures.
The more points you have, the higher "tier" NMs you can pop. I don't want to spend more time explaining how it works o_o so here are the screens of the rewards we've got :

Killing every Tier 3 NM opened us the way of Tier 4 ones a.k.a Tyger (Khimaira), Sarameya (Cerberus), Tinnin (Hydra). We were the first shell to kill a Tier 4 NM all servers included, and the first shell to kill the 3 Tier 4 NMs on Unicorn :

Tyger :



1st surprise of this fight, this mob totally resists Elegy even with ES (Good thing i came /WHM by mistake :X)
We fought very well until our second surprise...Fulmination at 50% where we almost wiped. Hopefully, it has way less HP than the real Khim,and a lesser Defense.

Sarameya :



This one is by far the hardest of the 3 Tier 4,and the real Cerb is a joke compared to this. You don't expect to see a Chainspell going out every 25% with FiragaIII,FlareII etc followed by Gates of Hades.

Tinnin :



Easiest of the 3 mobs, but has nasty moves you have to be prepared for.

We're now "farming" Tier 4 hoping for a Tier 5 trigger item ._.

Sidenote : i worked on Smithing lvl76 to 84 after sending almost 2M.

Nothing much to add here today, didn't do a lot recently because of my work schedule, and it seems like Venecia can't beat others HNMLS bots.
So i'm totally focusing on my craft at the moment and managed to take it from 76 to 82 since my last crafting streak.

I've done alot of Assaults with Yuffy and Neko (thx Yan for letting me using your character) for our Salvage permits and well, since i can hardly attend any event when i'm working during the afternoon, i'm back to 14k points in Periqia and about to get myself a pair of these Pahluwan Crackows for my WS set.

Only major HNM we managed to claim recently is Tiamat, and what a good fucking surprise to see an early pop with no competition and such drops as :



Really happy about this one. It was my second Tiamat ever and fight went without any trouble. So yeah 1/2 is pretty good i guess. Grats to Lede on Gaiters by the way, he can now stop bitching about camping and not getting them.

But i now realize that i forgot to talk about my friends!

Yan is studying alot for his exams, but i feel confident about him ;)

It's been too long since the last time i posted something about Kyosam.
After going 0/3 on it, he finally got his Swift Belt to drop!
Thanks to his CoP static and his farming spirit (even worse than me sometimes o.o) he managed to get his sea access, and besides, a shiny Brutal Earring, along with a Peacock Charm and a Fire Bomblet (he's so poor)

TPing gear greatly improved,and WAR looks like this now :



Huge congrats there as he's, at least for me, the person that improved the most gearwise on a short time.
(also, on a sidenote, he caught up with me on CoP Missions, and we both got 8-3 done, so looking forward our Rajas Rings in a near future)

During a random camp in Dragon's Aery; Fafnir pops and the new SP shell get claim.
BUT,since they don't have enough people to kill before it rages, they have the great idea to CFH followed by an Escape. Lame attitude,but it's not worse than what followed : Kittyworld, a JP LS cockblocking every HNM/King with their 50ppl at each camp start to damage it, thinking it will somehow come back to normal while engaged. Needless to say they
wiped when they realized that it wouldn't "unCFH" while fighting. SO Fafnir is still up and starts eating some Grudge people who somehow had hate,leaving us the only HNMLS here without hate. Easy claim when it came back to normal and we killed pretty fast with, as a reward :

We did some Assaults with Yuffy for Salvage points, and finally finished this :

Thank god i was the only one lotting(i lotted 40 /blush), but i had my multi ready to go anyway.

To finish with today's update, some sky news, where i didn't fight a God for a good 6month.
We went up there with Venecia and farmed 3 pop set,Suzaku - Genbu and Seiryu.
We then proceeded to fight them but no A.Abj dropped except A.Hands (i already have them ._.). So i took my frustration on Seiryu, where i won lot on :

Finally some stuff to fill an update with!!

After living my worst week ever on Unicorn , good things happened to me.
I'll start with my bad luck and raise this first :



Yes...the cloth was mine , and i lost 4M Gils and 2 month of farm
attempting to get my Sha'ir Manteel crafted.

Since this was my lucky week (irony~) i had the chance loose lot not once,but twice on A.Feet
yay me and my high rolls.

Then Limbus , oh yes , where i couldn't lot the first AF+1 BRD item i've seen drop in 3 month because i was dead , and of course , auto dropped on a useless uncapable of pass fucking MNK onry person (yes i was like that before ^^)

But it's not over yet!
I've been camping Xolotl for 10 days now , and we went on a great 0/7 streak without Bandomusha Kote drop ; and ; to make this even more hilarious , we went 1/2 on Perseus's Harpe! Hi2u Xolotl.

Enough about me for now , let's move on to my friends drops.

First , Huge Congrats to Nekonaruto who managed to finally get his hands(or Legs (LOL).) on a Byakko's Haidate , making his NIN really pimp now :

I talked about Xolotl earlier , we went with 3 Kotes on a row after the 0/7 streak and as i was the first to camp it , it's normal to be rewarded with :

I did my first Jailer of Faith , fight was easy but Torque didn't drop (i'm not #1 on it so it doesn't matter). Since jailers weapons are freelot...

We did a few assaults recently , trying to get 15000 points for my Storm Fife (6000/15000 atm) and got this instead :



Rank 5 ; not that much but it's always nice to Rank up anyway.

New titles : since the linkshell is on a good claim streak,i had the chance to get 2 new titles



Only good thing we had from Tiamat was title really <.< , dropped a Behemoth Hide and a Wyrm Horn , yay!

We had nothing to do after Tiamat , so we decided to do a couple Alastor NM runs.
I went to Batallia Downs , bought an Antlion Trap , and after roughly 1h~ got this :



it's time to get my hands on some A.Abjs,Minstrel Ring,Loquacious Earring and RDM to 37 and try a full Fast Cast gear <.<

Einherjar : Venecia is doing Einherjar actively now , and we managed to get 30+ people with Wing II access (i'm one of those)

We can't complain about drops after getting N.Head and a Yoichi's Sash on Wing I Armoury Crates. Looking forward to Wing II drops now :P

To finish with today's update , i was able to recover from my 4M loss , and made 3.5M in about 2 weeks , right after Venecia zergued Bahav2 and got a Cashmere Cloth from it.
Cloth was then crafted into a Sha'ir Manteel , and one of the LS sackers sold it to me for 3.5M



BRD is being more and more pimpy , can't wait till AF+1 & Bard's Roundlet.

A quick update after our Dynamis-Beaucedine run today
Ninja and Summoner AF dropped but more important , i finished one of these :

Today was definitly one of the best day i ever had in FFXI and to be honest , i never thought it would happen in 1 day.

LS event was KS99 and we had like 15 or more orbs to burn.So we decided to start with Horlais Peak aka Chlevnik (KB)

First round was really smooth ; fight took us like 7mns and we dropped a Behemoth Tongue which resulted in :



This is the only Tongue that dropped over 8 runs and i was lucky enough to lot it before Venic (another lolMNK who was waiting on his 3rd Black Belt item) arrive to the BCNM area.

We then proceeded to do some Wyrm fights.
Same as above , the fights went really smooth although a bit longer than Chlevnik , but we managed to burn 8 orbs which rewarded me with :



From now on , i let you imagine what i did the second after we ended our KS run.

Last week i went to Luxembourg to see a really good friend of mine (i've known him for 2.5years~ now), Yannick aka Nekonaruto.
He's a really cool guy and i had fun with him and his wannabe french language (XD).
We went to see Punish Yourself and Ill Nino's concerts and i have to say i was totally voiceless when i saw Ill Nino's show.

Too bad we didn't take any pics , but i would have really enjoy to get one while we were drinking some beer <.< , Diekirch's beer is really good <3

I spent 3 days in Luxembourg but this is something i won't forget ;)

We got Cerby yesterday , and after 4hours of fighting (45mins~ for me as i arrived late) and 5 GoH stunless,we got rewarded with :



I then proceeded to do some Nyzul Isle assaults and only had Goliard Clogs for the 2 assaults we've done.

We went to do Einherjar after Dynamis and...



Boss was really tough and we lack some strategy/practice on Einherjar as it's new for almost everyone (for me also :o)

Today started very well.
Aspidochelone pops and Oxygen claims,with like every link possible in the area,while their PLD/NIN Bloodtank it to his own death (Hello utsu?).We get claim with Invincible instantly and fight goes really fast with BLMs Manafont :

Later on today,2 Nyzul Isle assaults again (i want Denali Gamashes so bad ><),and our second Faf rewarded us with Denali Gamashes!!!!
But,since i'm not a luckywhore at lotting,i rolled a 83...against 3 people,needless to say what resulted of this :D

Hi hi hi,it's been 2 weeks without any update (i blame Yuffy),so now is the time to post some screenshots of things that happened in game lately.

First of all,since i talked about Yuffy,you have to know we both camped in Fei'yin killing every single Shadow NM in there almost every day.
After 1 week of Western Shadow spamming ,i'm the proud new owner of this :



Camped these to spam Pulling the plug ENM every week,which best reward is a Toreador's Ring,looking forward to see a drop.
1/6,Gtfo Western Shadow.

But let's get back to Yuffy now.Image itself speaks better than every word i could use :



Huge congrats to him,he spent 16 days straight getting every claim on Eastern Shadow,even with windows fucking his sleep,but he managed to get drop on the 16th kill.(Short notice,he lost his internet connection like 5mins after getting his bow,great timing :D)

These drops are putting an end to our Fei'yin camp.

1st of a 4 drop serie i had on Paddy during one week.It's my friend Nekonaruto's turn now to violate our favorite sheep everyday,and just got his 4th Earring also this week <.<
Notice : I'm really thankfull to Paddy,he offered me a second Cashmere Thread,i'm just one Thread away for my Bard's masterpiece : Sha'ir Manteel.

Dynamis.

We did a couple dynamis during the last two weeks :
Dynamis-Valkurm > Wipe at start,BRD Cape drop,1M wasted.
Dynamis-San D'Oria > lots of Afs (forgot to take SS of our drops <.<),but still no Bard's Roundlet.
Dynamis-Jeuno > crap drops except RDM & a Jadeshell
Dynamis-Xarcabard > worst xarca i've ever done,only Abyss Burgeonet dropped.
it was a lame dynamis,but thanks to Mastersith,i had to laugh during the run :

Now,here is the most exciting part of this update (at least for me it is).
During the week,i applied to Venecia,a HNMLS,and was very surprised and happy to receive a pearl after people gave me their support on application.

First day of camping wasn't really good since we didn't get claim on Behemoth or Fafnir
We then went to an improvised Salvage,and well the run was exactly what i expected of an HNMLS.
Drops were Usukane Legs lvl35(which i lost lot on ._.),Freya's Ledelsens,and some freelot stuff i lootwhored '-' :



Today was a great day for Venecia.
1st of all,we claimed Aspidochelone during the afternoon.
Fight went really smooth and we ended up with :



LS went to do Ouryu BCNM next in order to get a Monarch's Orb for Bahamuth v2 next week (gogo thread!!!)
Meanwhile,i went to Behemoth's Dominion with Danilo/Nanoflare (aka Omare,ex Pain leader,and Venecia's leader) to see Boric get claim on Behemoth once again ._.

At this moment someone in LS said "Cerb is up unclaimed".
So the 6~ of us not doing Ouryu rush there,while i check Dragon's Aery with another character and see Grudge wiping on Nidhogg.Unfortunately Wabo was there and they instantly claimed.
So we're all prepared and waiting in front of Cerberus (by the time we arrived,we were 9).
We engaged it with 9,and we managed to get it to 50% before our Ouryu Overwhelmers arrived.
The fight went pretty fast then (even when our stunners failed at Gates of Hades 3 times),and Cerby rewarded us with :

HNMs gave me 2 cool titles today :



I guess that's all i have to show off for now.
I really hope next update will be my Manteel reward :D
